The Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering program at Urmia University of Technology provides students with a fundamental knowledge of the processing, properties, selection and application of structural and functional materials. Students will learn about crystal structures and structural analysis, thermodynamics of materials, mechanical and physical properties of materials, transport phenomena and kinetics, phase equilibria, casting and deformation processes, electrochemical behavior of materials, as well as how to apply this knowledge in selection, design and application of materials, and design of experiments.The duration of this program at Urmia University of Technology is 8 academic semesters and students will gain foundational knowledge and have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning in our numerous laboratories and workshops.
