Civil Engineering at Khoy Faculty of Engineering

The Civil Engineering Department began its activities in 1996 by accepting students in the Associate Degree in General Building Works. Since 2010, with the admission of students to the Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, the scientific activity of this group has entered a new stage, so that the statistics of graduates entering 2010 in this field indicate the remarkable success of students in this field at the master's degree level of national universities. With the admission of students to the Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering since February 2016, the educational and research activities of the Civil Engineering Department have further developed. Currently, this group provides scientific and research services with the cooperation of five of its full-time faculty members as well as invited professors from the Urmia Faculty of Technology and Engineering and other universities in the province. It should be noted that the group's well-equipped laboratories, such as the concrete laboratory, soil mechanics laboratory, hydraulic laboratory, and materials strength laboratory, have been established on the faculty campus
