Department of Physics at Urmia University of Technology

The Department of Physics has started its activity since 2010 with providing general physics 1 and 2, basic physics laboratory 1 and 2 and electromagnetic courses for engineering fields. With the completion of the academic staff, this group took action to accept students for master's degree in solid state field and doctoral degree in fundamental physics. The first entries of the master and doctoral degrees students were in February 2012. The physics group right now has five fulltime academic staff, one full professor, two associated professor and two assistant professors. One of group members has retired recently.
