Student Day Ceremony Held
According to the university's public relations report, on December 17, the Student Day
Ceremony was held in the Shahid Fakhrizadeh Amphitheater of the university.
Dr. Mokhtarian, President of Urmia University of Technology, said: Currently, 3,500 students
are studying at this university, who are considered as elite students.
Dr. Mokhtarian, stating that Urmia University of Technology is among the top universities,
added: According to the Times international ranking, only 51 universities from the Ministry of
Science are present, and Urmia University of Technology has also been able to have a different
position for itself. Referring to the anniversary of Azar 16th, Dr. Mokhtarian said: The discussion
of anti-arrogance is an indicator of the formation of Student Day, and today, students must
always illuminate anti-arrogance in their student spirit. Dr. Mokhtarian, President of the
university, said: Every student is a bright candle for the future of our country, Iran, who can
create a beautiful and capable Iranian with their knowledge and awareness.
Mohammad Eslami stated on Saturday during the Student Day ceremony among the students
of Urmia University of Technology: "Students who are interested in visiting the capacities of this
department should announce their names through the university so that we can define the
transportation platform and stay with the students."
Engineer Mohammad Eslami stated: "Creating scientific foundations to promote cooperation
with Urmia University of Technology is essential, and this is a mutual demand that we have
direct contact with students, and this will be the foundation of new sciences in the nuclear
industry." He continued: "A memorandum of understanding for cooperation is also being
prepared today between the Atomic Energy Organization and Urmia University of Technology
to establish the necessary communications and, after the necessary reviews and signing by
both parties, expand cooperation."
Regarding the hostility of global arrogance towards the nuclear progress of Islamic Iran, he
stated: "The result of 20 years of accusations and negotiations was the JCPOA document, after
which they accused Iran of using nuclear energy militarily to burn Iran's opportunities for
progress in various sciences." He said: "Today, modern science and technology sing the call of
Iranian power and pride in the global arena, and Iran has not lagged behind in this step and is,
in fact, taking the lead."
The Vice President added: "Iran's enemies cannot tolerate Iran's progress and development,
and we also know that if we do not utilize the capacity of nuclear energy, we will witness the
impact of various sciences in our country, and we will never lose such capacity."
Ms. Maryam Hadipour was honored as the university's research and distinguished leader and
Mr. Mehdi Ghafari as the university's educational leader.
