According to the university's public relations, an international workshop entitled "Self-Assembly Nanostructures for Medical Applications" was held in two parts: Fundamentals of Theory and Simulation with the presence of Professor Nistrom from the University of Oslo, Norway and Dr. Ahmadi, faculty member of Urmia University on Tuesday in the university amphitheater.
In this workshop, which was attended by students and faculty members of related departments including chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, materials, civil engineering, mechanics, electricity and optics, after welcoming and introducing the guests by the Director of International Affairs, first Professor Nistrom In two sessions, gave a brief presentation of nanostructures in chemistry and chemical engineering. Then, the simulation of semiconductor devices based on nanostructures with the latest software in the world was presented by Dr. Ahmadi.
At the end of the workshop, some faculty members of the Departments of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics and Materials Engineering in a special meeting with guests, had a cordial conversation and providing constructive opinions on joint research activities with the aim of developing international relations between the two universities, And exchanged views on publishing joint articles, guiding joint dissertations of graduate students, as well as other specialized topics.
It should be mentioned that before the workshop, in a joint meeting with the honorable chancellor of the university, deputies and director of international affairs, welcoming the guests and reviewing various strategies for developing joint activities, they presented gifts for their efforts to an international workshop.
