Khoy Faculty of Engineering and Technology, as the scientific hub of the north of the province in the field of engineering sciences, has started its activities since 1996 by attracting students in the field of civil engineering, general construction works; The recruitment of students in the associate degree in architecture since 2003 has led to more scientific prosperity of the faculty in order to meet the urgent need of the region to cultivate local experts and respond to the great interest of the youth of Khoy city.
The development of the faculty has accelerated since 2010 with the recruitment of undergraduate students in civil engineering; Recently, with the admission of students in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering since September 2015 and also the admission of students in the Master of Civil Engineering since February 2016, more scientific development and vitality has been provided in the faculty and God willing, by attracting board members Science in different fields and the establishment of new fields in undergraduate and graduate courses In the near future, we will see the flourishing of the faculty as much as possible.
The current space of the college with 2800 square meters of educational and administrative infrastructure is located on a 6,000 square meter land in Vali-e-Asr town of Khoy. The main campus of the college is being built next to Mellat Park on a 41-hectare land with an area of about 8600 square meters. Existence of desirable educational and hardware facilities, classrooms equipped with computer and video projection system, equipped computer site, numerous laboratories and workshops in the faculty have provided a suitable platform for education and spiritual excellence of young people eager to acquire knowledge and virtue, certainly with more support from officials. The city will achieve their proper development and position.
Khoy College of Engineering and Technology intends to take big steps towards the quantitative and qualitative development of the faculty by creating new fields in undergraduate and graduate courses, and this will not be possible except with the empathy and increasing efforts of university colleagues and the hard work of dear students.
